Tuesday morning Autumnal walk (Coombe Wood)

Autumn colours

Vitis leaf - nibbled.

Amazing patterns

Lacy leaf

Yellowing leaves

Coiling stems of red leaves around the fence.

Golden rain tree leaves - green fading, becoming yellow and brown.

Vibrant reds

Softer pink

Greens tinged with orange.

A closer look at spindle berries.

Broken mushroom - revealing  neat "ribs".

Neat little circles left unmown around several the plants left in the wild flower area. The other day the gardener told me that he will be rotavating this area again soon.

Huge delicate iris petals with crinkly edges.

Splashes of colour.

A crazy combination of red, pink and orange.

Willow leaves floating on the pond.

Looking closer at the orange plant that was in the first photo.

In spite of the filmy surface the fish seemed to glow brightly.

Thank you very much for joining me.
