After the rain - a walk in Coombe Wood
I love the colour of these seed heads by the pond
Golden Rain Tree pods (Koelreutia)
New shoots
Raindrops on tiny seed heads
Cluster of massive mushrooms
More seeds
Draped and dripping on the tree
Winter blossom!
Snowdrops on their way - new life - signs of hope.
Thank you for joining me on this little journey.
The Golden Rain seed pods look like little hearts hanging there, and I always love being out after the rain when there are trillions of sparkling diamond rain drops clinging to every twig and leaf. Nature's bounty eh!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely agree with you there Cath!
DeleteThank you for that enjoyable little watery journey.....lovely seed pods. The colours always seen purer after the rain and natures aromas enhanced. I noticed snowdrops in full bloom in the front garden today, rather hidden but there none the less. We need reminders that the cycle of life is about to take off again.
ReplyDeleteThank you Karen. There were a few snowdrops there which were further advanced but my photos of them were blurred. I'll go again soon and take some more!
DeleteIt was a gorgeous day after such a wet start -love the photos.
ReplyDeleteYes it was lovely this afternoon - very good to see sunshine and blue sky again. Glad you like the photos Helen.
