Saturday 11th April. Back to Coombe Wood

I had a walk with my sister on Saturday. I've been away for a week and it was interesting to see how much had grown since I was last there.

Blossom everywhere

Plants growing in the prairie beds
New shoots next to old seed pods

Alien shadows

Seed pods forming in the helebores
The thick red stems with green leaves opening and tiny clusters of delicate flowers

Buds

New growth next to what is left from last year

Some of the euphorbia flowers have three "flowerlets" growing out of them.

Colours behind the pond
Thank you very much for joining me.

    1. Yes there certainly was a massive difference since we were there together.

  2. Those pink and white blossoms are just so beautiful, they always remind me of a spring bride, or little fairy ballerina dresses!
