Tuesday afternoon walk (Coombe Wood)

A dull afternoon - a short walk. The light was very poor - not many photos this time.

 Bright red berries

The liquid amber tree has shed most of its leaves now.

Some of the grasses look like exploding fireworks.

Glimpse of snowdrops

Evidence of the gardener at work. He was cutting down branches to make fences to keep the deer away from some plants that they find particularly tasty.

Hellebores emerging

 Witch Hazel

with delicate scent

Several branches have dried up leaves still hanging on.

Thank you very much for joining me.

  2. Another very dull day today - it was lovely here yesterday but I was busy and couldn't get out for a walk.
