Arty journeys...

LITTLE ARTY JOURNEYS . . . LOOKING CLOSER, SEEING DEEPER.

Monday - Selsdon woods with my lovely neighbour

A beautiful day for a walk in the woods.

Twisty tree

There's still a haze of bluebells.

Some quite dark.

For some reason, in one area, the patches of light coming through the trees looked lilac coloured.

Sunlit fern.

Shadows

Dark shadow over fuzzier shadow.

Tiny blue flowers

Old branch with lichen and cones.

Old stump covered in moss, bluebells and fern.

Bits if dead tree draped across new growth.

Fallen tree - across a big dip.

One of two ponds...

and information about it.

This tree looks as if it has split its skin and is about to climb out of it.

Blue sky, deep green trees (except one with white blossom on) and grass dotted with buttercups. I have been advised to avoid the grass when the horse flies are biting (I have quite a reaction to their bites.)

Blossom

Helpful notices dotted around.

More blossom.

Thank you very much for joining me.
